Purple

Some purple flowers I found on my computer. It rained a lot today and the song "Purple rain" came to my mind, I haven't heard it in a long time though. The first flower is African Violet, the second one is Agapanthus (Lily of the Nile) and the third one I don't know...

These flowers go to Today's Flowers, a blog that shows flowers from around the world every Sunday.

Olá Cris,

Gostei das suas flores.
A terceira, alias muito bela mas estranha, eu não conheço também.
Obrigado por participar.

It is so funny, you posting that third flower! I have that plant in bloom, too! It was called old man's whiskers, when I got it, but that can mean almost anything. I have had it several years, and this is the first I have seen flowers on it. Your photo is MUCH better than mine!

Hello dear Cris!
Your African Violet blossoms are breathtaking. Mine have refused to bloom all winter in spite of being well fed and placed under lights. Ungrateful plants! Their leaves look healthy though :)
I'd love to try Agapanthus. So lovely!
The last photo is wonderful too. The flower is such a little beauty.
Happy changing of the seasons! I hope you and your lovely family are well. We're delighting in the springtime that has come to us at last here in upstate NY :)

I enjoyed the photos of the lovely flowers on your blog. Santa taking a vacation was fun too. The photos of the chapels and countryside remind me of views of California and the missions.
